Seed rate & spacing
- Recommended seed rate: 100 kg/ha (increase to 125 kg/ha for late Dec. sowing)
- Row spacing: 8–10 cm; sowing depth ~5 cm

Weed, disease and pest management
- Pre‑emergence: Isoproturon (IPA) or Arelon within 48 hours of sowing.
- Broadleaf weeds: 2,4‑D (0.5 kg a.i.) in 750 L water; apply up to 35 DAS.
- Wild oats: Avadex; Nutsedge: TOKE/Metolachlor per label.
- Diseases: Mancozeb (M‑45) 2 kg in 800 L water per ha.
- Leaf‑eating insects: Thiodon 1–1.25 L or Malathion as per label rates.
Agronomy & R&D Guidance
Recommendations compiled from our product literature for maximizing wheat performance in Indian conditions.
- Field prep: Plough after previous crop, 2–3 harrowings; ensure weed‑free seedbed with adequate moisture. For soil pests, mix Endosulfan 5% or BHC 10% at 25 kg/ha in soil before sowing.
- Sowing window: Early varieties mid‑Nov; medium varieties late‑Nov to early‑Dec; late varieties up to late‑Dec. Ideal germination temp ~12–20°C.
- Weed control: Pre‑emergence Isoproturon/Arelon (48h). Broadleaf weeds: 2,4‑D (0.5 kg a.i. in 750 L). Wild oats: Avadex; Nutsedge: TOKE; follow label directions.
- Disease/Pest: Mancozeb (M‑45) 2 kg/ha in 800 L; Leaf eaters: Thiodon 1–1.25 L or Malathion per hectare.
